Automated production line with clear acrylic guarding panels in a Chinese factory

AcrylicFabWorks is the export brand of Suzhou Hongyee New Material Co., Ltd., a cast acrylic sheet manufacturer and PMMA fabrication factory in Suzhou, China. One in-house line casts Calypto acrylic sheet in 1–30 mm at 135 tonnes per month, and the same ISO 9001 site machines, laser-cuts, bends, bonds and polishes that sheet into finished parts. Buyers can specify Calypto sheet for cost, or Mitsubishi and Lucite optical-grade PMMA when a branded material is required.

Sourcing, stated plainly

What we cast, what we fabricate, and what we do not make

Most suppliers who answer a request for a Chinese acrylic manufacturer sit on one side of a line: either they cast or extrude sheet and sell it by the tonne, or they buy sheet and machine it into parts. Suzhou Hongyee does both on one site, and states plainly which material on your order came from which source.

Material Where it comes from What we do to it
Cast acrylic (PMMA) — Calypto Cast on our own line in Suzhou, 1–30 mm, 135 t/month Casting, lot inspection, cut-to-size, full fabrication, packing, export
Cast acrylic (PMMA) — branded Mitsubishi or Lucite optical-grade PMMA, supplied when the order specifies a branded material Grade and lot verification, cut-to-size, full fabrication, packing, export
Extruded acrylic (PMMA) Affiliated manufacturers Grade and lot verification, cutting or fabrication, packing, export
Polycarbonate (PC) Affiliated manufacturers Grade and lot verification, optional cutting or fabrication, packing, export
PVC, PETG, HDPE and other plastics Not supplied We do not fabricate them, and we say so at enquiry rather than after the order

Fabricated parts run 3–100 mm thick; sheet orders run 1–30 mm. Availability always depends on grade, colour and source, and the quotation states which material was assumed.

Why a buyer should care that the sheet and the machining are under one roof

This is not a marketing distinction. It changes three things a procurement engineer actually deals with:

One party owns a defect

When a fabricator buys sheet and a part crazes, delaminates or shows internal stress, the fabricator blames the sheet mill and the mill blames the machining. On Calypto material the casting lot and the machining record sit in the same traceability chain, so the argument does not happen.

No second margin on the material

A pure fabricator prices your part on sheet it bought at a trading margin. On house-cast material that layer is not in the price. Where a branded sheet is specified, the material is bought in and the quote says so.

Reorders match

Colour, opacity and diffusion drift between sheet suppliers and between batches. Casting our own sheet lets us hold a grade against a part number so a repeat order in six months looks like the first one.

Figures above are company-declared. If you are screening us against other Chinese suppliers, our own guide on how to verify a Chinese acrylic factory lists the checks we would expect you to run on us, and quality documents lists what ships with an order.

If your question is really about sheet, and not about parts

Two enquiries arrive under the same words. If you need material — full sheets, cut-to-size panels, a grade held for a rollout — go to bulk acrylic and polycarbonate sheet supply, which covers MOQ, sizes and documents. If you need parts to a drawing, start at capabilities or send the drawing straight to RFQ. If you are choosing between our house-cast sheet and a branded material, read house-cast vs branded PMMA.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Does Suzhou Hongyee actually manufacture acrylic sheet, or only fabricate it?

Both. One casting line in our Suzhou facility produces Calypto cast acrylic sheet in 1–30 mm at 135 tonnes per month, and the same site fabricates acrylic into finished parts. Extruded acrylic and polycarbonate are supplied by affiliated manufacturers and verified against the quoted grade and lot documents.

What is Calypto?

Calypto is the brand name of the cast acrylic sheet we produce on our own line in Suzhou. It is the standard material for our cast acrylic work. Mitsubishi or Lucite optical-grade PMMA is supplied instead when the order specifies a branded material.

Can I buy sheet only, without any fabrication?

Yes. Bulk sheet orders start at 10 sheets, in common sizes such as 1220 × 2440 mm, 2000 × 1000 mm and 2050 × 3050 mm, with programme pricing from 200 sheets. Availability is confirmed by grade, colour, thickness and source.

Are you a factory or a trading company?

A factory. The casting line and the 25 fabrication machines are on one 15,000 m² site at No. 58 Jumin Road, Xiangcheng District, Suzhou. We are happy to be checked: business licence, ISO 9001 certificate, a live video walk of the line, and material or inspection documents per order.

Do you supply Mitsubishi or Lucite acrylic if our specification names it?

Yes. When a drawing or specification calls for a branded optical-grade PMMA, we source Mitsubishi or Lucite and the quotation identifies the material source, grade and lot documents. Naming a branded sheet raises the material cost against our house-cast Calypto material.

What thicknesses can you actually supply and machine?

Sheet orders run 1–30 mm. Fabricated parts run 3–100 mm, using cast or extruded acrylic depending on the part. Machined parts up to 3000 × 2000 mm; laser cutting to ≤25 mm.
