Corner enclosure — panels cut and drilled to the hardware jig

An acrylic shower panel is a cut-to-size PMMA screen used in shower enclosures and wet rooms. It weighs roughly half of glass at the same size, resists impact far better, and will not break into shards — which is why enclosure manufacturers use it for flat screens and splash panels. We cut panels 3–100 mm thick, up to 3000 × 2000 mm, with radiused corners, diamond-polished edges and drilled hardware patterns to your jig.

What enclosure manufacturers need

Why the tolerance conversation happens first

  • Hardware pattern. Hinge, clamp and handle holes must match your hardware jig, not a generic drawing. Send the jig dimensions and we drill to it.
  • Corner radii. Sharp corners chip in handling and in use. Radiused corners are standard on every panel we ship for wet areas.
  • Edge quality. Exposed edges are diamond-polished. A polished edge is not cosmetic here — a rough edge is where cracking starts under clamp load.
  • Repeat consistency. On production batches the cut file and drill pattern are locked, so panel 500 matches panel 1 rather than drifting.

Where acrylic is the wrong choice

The limits, stated up front

Acrylic is not tempered safety glass. In markets and specifications that require certified safety glazing for shower enclosures, glass is the compliant material — we will say so rather than quote around it. Acrylic also does not tolerate ammonia-based cleaners, which we state in the handling sheet shipped with every batch.

FAQ

Questions buyers ask before ordering

Do you supply to shower enclosure manufacturers as an OEM?

Yes — that is the normal case. We cut to your drawing and hardware jig, in repeat batches, with the cut file locked so panels stay consistent between runs.

What thickness is used for shower screens?

Most flat acrylic screens land between 4 and 8 mm depending on panel size and fixing. Send the panel size and hardware type and we will recommend a thickness.

Can acrylic go in a steam room?

Acrylic holds its properties in normal bathroom conditions. For sustained high-temperature steam applications, tell us the design temperature — above roughly 80 °C continuous, acrylic is not the right material.

How are panels protected in transit?

Protective film on both faces, corner protection, and crating designed for the batch size. Handling and cleaning instructions ship with every crate.

For manufacturers

OEM acrylic shower & bathroom wall panels

We supply acrylic shower wall panels and bathroom wall panels to shower-enclosure and bathroom manufacturers as a fabrication partner, not a retail renovator: cut to size, edges polished and radiused, drilled and CNC-cut to your drawing, in repeat production runs. Cast acrylic gives a warm, glass-clear surface that resists bathroom chemistry within limits and ships as flat panels for your assembly line.
