Acrylic control panels are CNC-machined PMMA fascias used as front panels, instrument covers and HMI windows on equipment. Machined from 2–12 mm cast acrylic, they combine precise cutouts for switches and displays (typically ±0.1 mm) with options metal panels can’t match: full transparency, integral backlighting, and laser-engraved legends that never wear off.

Yes. Laser engraving cuts into the material itself; with optional paint fill the legend is permanent and high-contrast. For backlit panels we engrave from the rear face so the front stays smooth.
Yes — threaded brass inserts, bonded standoffs and countersunk holes are all done in-factory.
We stock standard grey/bronze smoked grades and source specific tints per project. Send your display model and we’ll recommend a transmission level.
Switch and display openings run to General tolerances per GB/T 1804-2000 / ISO 2768 by size span at ±0.1 mm typical, and drawing-flagged critical dimensions are confirmed at ±0.05 mm by first-article inspection.
Yes: engraved labels can be back-filled, and backlight uniformity is evaluated per application against LED spacing, thickness and grade rather than guaranteed.
Drawings accepted as STEP/DWG/DXF/PDF/sketches, and a manufacturing drawing is drafted from a sketch so switch positions are agreed before production.
Fascia edges are polished and the A face follows Appearance described as clear / glass-clear / optically clear, judged against the approved master sample with B-face marks allowed per the drawing.
Fascias can be bonded or fitted to enclosures in-factory; tell us the assembly and hardware requirements and they are written into the quote.
Cast acrylic is recommended for fascias with many cutouts and engraving, extruded for simple flat overlays. Fascia panels typically run 3-8 mm inside the fabricated thickness range 3-100 mm, with graphics and engraving confirmed against the drawing before production.
Backlight brightness and distribution depend on the LED system, sheet grade, thickness and spacing; they are evaluated per application rather than guaranteed. Cutout positions and graphics are confirmed per drawing, and a revision triggers a new first-article inspection so production matches the approved version.
Fascia panels typically run 3-8 mm and overlay films are quoted per application, inside the fabricated acrylic thickness range 3-100 mm. Thickness is confirmed against the drawing and the components behind the panel, and availability depends on grade and source.

Cast acrylic recommended for machining-heavy parts, extruded for flat sheet: machined fascias with many cutouts are quoted in cast, while simple flat covers can run in extruded sheet.
Fabricated acrylic thickness range 3–100 mm sets the envelope; fascia panels typically run 3–8 mm and window inserts match the enclosure panel, confirmed against the drawing.
Switch and indicator openings follow General tolerances per GB/T 1804-2000 / ISO 2768 depending on size span; Machined features to ±0.1 mm (holes and machined features) apply, and Critical dimensions on the 5-axis CNC to ±0.05 mm are verified at first article per drawing.
The fascia A face follows Appearance described as clear / glass-clear / optically clear judged against the approved master sample, with the tightest scratch and haze criteria.
Machined parts annealed with the cast-acrylic industry–standard schedule, and control-panel facias are stress-relieved with this cycle after machining before engraving and polishing; temperature and soak parameters are confirmed per grade, not published. Annealing reduces but does not eliminate crazing risk near screws, inserts or solvent-based graphics.
Bonded joints described as near-invisible seams apply where fascia panels join their enclosures.
