From CAD to machined part

Ordering custom acrylic fabrication follows five steps: send a drawing or sketch, receive design-for-manufacturing feedback, approve the quote, confirm a sample or first article, then release production. From drawing to shipped sample typically takes 48 hours; production adds 7 days plus freight.

    STEP, DWG, DXF or PDF — or a dimensioned sketch / sample-part photos. Include material & thickness (or ask us), quantity and application.

  2. DFM feedback & quote

    Within 12 hours an engineer reviews manufacturability — radii, vent spacing, bend feasibility — and replies with a quote or specific questions. DFM review is free and often trims cost. More commercial questions — MOQ, payment, samples — are answered in our acrylic fabrication FAQ.

  3. Approve quote & terms

    Quote covers unit price at your quantities, tooling if any, lead time, packing and shipping terms. NDA before or after quoting — your choice.

  4. Sample / first article

    You receive the physical sample (or FAI report) in 48 hours. Production starts only after your written approval — changes at this stage are free.

  5. Production & delivery

    Production per the approved sample, final inspection, pre-shipment photos, then dispatch — courier for samples, air or sea freight for volume (7 days + freight).
