Flatness, crating and transport limits are confirmed per order; large panels may ship flat-pack.

Company-declared

Large-format panels we produce

Large-format panels up to 3000 × 2000 mm are CNC-cut, edge-finished and crated for partitions, machine covers, cladding elements, display faces and observation walls.

Cast versus extruded for large panels

Cast acrylic recommended for machining-heavy parts, extruded for flat sheet: large flat panels with simple edges run in extruded sheet, while panels with cutouts, bonding or forming are quoted in cast.

Typical large-panel thicknesses

Fabricated acrylic thickness range 3–100 mm sets the envelope; large-format panels typically run 3–15 mm depending on span, with flatness confirmed against the panel size and support spacing.

Tolerance bands for large panels

Large panels follow General tolerances per GB/T 1804-2000 / ISO 2768 by size span; Machined features to ±0.1 mm (holes and machined features) cover cutouts, and Critical dimensions on the 5-axis CNC to ±0.05 mm are confirmed per drawing plus first-article.

Appearance and edge finishes

Panel faces follow Appearance described as clear / glass-clear / optically clear against the approved master sample, with polished or matte edges per order.

Annealing and stress-cracking risk

Machined parts annealed with the cast-acrylic industry–standard schedule, and large panels are stress-relieved with this cycle after machining; soak temperature and dwell time are confirmed per grade and are not published. Annealing reduces but does not eliminate stress-cracking risk under fasteners, thermal expansion or sustained load.

Lead times and crating

Panel schedules get Engineering review and quote within 12 hours on working days; Sample in 48 hours, production runs in 7 days with crating planned per panel.

Clear-grade sourcing statement

Calypto cast acrylic sheet, cast in our own Suzhou facility, is used for the large clear grades we quote, with Mitsubishi or Lucite optical-grade PMMA supplied when the order specifies a branded material and availability confirmed per size.

Standard sheet stock range

Standard acrylic sheet stock range 1–30 mm covers many large-panel thicknesses, while thicker spans come from fabricated stock.

FAQ

What is the largest acrylic panel you can supply?

Large-format panels up to 3000 × 2000 mm are available; flatness, crating and transport limits are confirmed per order.

What thickness do large panels use?

Large-format panels typically run 3–15 mm inside the fabricated acrylic thickness range 3–100 mm, confirmed per span and support spacing.

Can large panels ship internationally?

Yes: crating and transport are planned per order with the packaging and transport specification, and very large panels may ship flat-pack for on-site assembly.

Do large panels need expansion clearance?

Yes: acrylic expands and contracts with temperature, and fixing designs include clearance before quoting.

What edge finishes are available?

Edges are flame or diamond polished, or matte per order, and Appearance described as clear / glass-clear / optically clear is judged against the approved master sample.

What are large-format acrylic panels used for?

Large-format panels up to 3000 × 2000 mm are CNC-cut, edge-finished and crated for partitions, machine covers, cladding elements, display faces and observation walls. Large flat panels with simple edges run efficiently in extruded sheet; panels with cutouts, bonding or forming are quoted in cast.

How are very large acrylic panels shipped safely?

Large panels are crated for transport, and flatness, crating and transport limits are confirmed per order. Very large panels may ship flat-pack with mechanical joints for on-site assembly, and thermal expansion clearance and fixing methods are reviewed per design.

What tolerance applies to cutouts in large acrylic panels?

Large panels follow general tolerances per GB/T 1804-2000 / ISO 2768 by size span; ±0.1 mm covers cutouts and machined features, and ±0.05 mm applies only to drawing-called critical dimensions confirmed per drawing plus first-article. Flatness is confirmed against panel size and support spacing.
