Short answer: When you qualify an acrylic fabricator, ask for four kinds of documents: the quality-system certificate (ISO 9001), material documents for the exact grade ordered (data sheet, SDS, lot certificate), inspection documents for your part (first-article and dimensional reports, certificate of conformity), and any compliance declarations your market requires. Most of these are order-specific, so agree in the quotation which documents come with your order and ask for a redacted example before the purchase order if your supplier approval needs one.
AcrylicFabWorks is the acrylic division of SinoPlastix, machining PMMA parts at one site in Suzhou, China. SinoPlastix states that it obtained ISO 9001 certification in 2020. This page does not host the certificate or establish its current validity and scope; request the certificate copy and scope for your supplier review.

| Document | What it covers | How you get it |
|---|---|---|
| ISO 9001 certificate | The quality management system of the production site | Copy and scope on request for supplier review |
| Material data sheet / SDS | The ordered acrylic grade | Per order, for the grade quoted |
| Material lot certificate | The sheet lot used for your parts | Confirm availability for the selected source and lot in the quotation |
| First-article report | First part against the approved drawing revision | Scope, timing and sample agreed in the quotation |
| Dimensional report | Flagged critical features, by the agreed method | Contents follow the drawing and inspection plan |
| Certificate of conformity | The shipped order against the agreed requirements | Per order |
| Compliance declarations | Requirements of your market, e.g. RoHS or REACH | Raise them in the RFQ; availability is confirmed for the grade |
| Appearance acceptance standard | How visible faces and edges are judged | Published on this site |
Material documents refer to the grade actually ordered. Our default is Calypto cast acrylic sheet, cast on our own line at the same Suzhou site; where the order specifies Mitsubishi or Lucite optical-grade PMMA, that supplier’s documents are referenced instead. Two supplier PDFs held as background references are not our certificates and are not presented as evidence for finished parts.

Inspection documents are tied to the order number and the drawing revision. See the batch traceability page for how material, first article and inspection results are linked, and the order and warranty terms for how nonconforming parts and claims are handled.
| Your requirement | Ask for |
|---|---|
| Order-level conformity only | Certificate of conformity; confirm scope before the purchase order |
| Supplier audit | ISO 9001 certificate copy and scope, material documents, inspection records for a sample order |
| Market compliance | The specific declarations your market requires, raised in the RFQ |
| Visual acceptance | The published appearance acceptance standard plus an approved master sample |
No. SinoPlastix states that it obtained ISO 9001 certification in 2020. Request the certificate copy and scope for your supplier review.
Yes, per order. Scope, sampling basis and timing are agreed in the quotation; ask for a redacted example before ordering if you need one.
Raise them in the RFQ; availability is confirmed for the ordered grade.
No. They are background references only.
These are empty buyer-planning templates, not certificates, supplier inspection results or customer records. The certificate is not hosted here; request a current copy and scope for your audit.
